Dec 12: Lightning 1 - Canucks 4

The lightning dropped game 3 of their 5-game road trip. The Lightning had its seven-game winning streak against Vancouver ended. The Lightning outshot Vancouver 29-22, including an 11-4 advantage in the first and a 13-4 advantage in the second period, but could not capitalize off their many opportunities.

Dec 14: Lightning 7 - Oilers 4⚡️

Tampa Bay earned their 2nd win of their 5-game road trip in game four of the trip against the Edmonton Oilers. The Bolts scored five goals in the 3rd period for only the 2nd time this season (also 5 on Nov. 24 at CAR). They’ve also scored nine goals combined in the 3rd periods from both games played against the Oilers. Slick!

Steven Stamkos scored his 200th career power-play goal with the Lightning’s first shot of the game. He became the 20th player in NHL history to score 200 power-play goals and the seventh player to do so with one franchise, Alexander Ovechkin (300) is the only active skater with more…Stamkos tied the game 3-3 and would score the eventual game-winning goal to complete his 12th career hat trick, the most in Lightning history.

Dec 16: Lightning 2 - Flames 4

The Lightning dropped their 3rd and last game of their 5-game road trip, falling 4-2 to the Flames. Tampa Bay slid to 14-13-5 overall and 6-10-2 on the road this season.

Brayden Point scored his first NHL goal in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta.
